He stated, “It has been a good year, and it’s going to be a good winter.” With a goal to boost enplanements—passengers boarding flights—by 10% in 2025, the airport has already seen a remarkable increase. As of October, enplanements were up over 33% compared to the last three years and 12.5% higher than in 2024.

“It is such a big Saturday, the biggest that the airport has ever seen,” said Josh Miller, the airport’s deputy director of aviation.
